Data protection
We – the Beske-Manufaktur – take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.
Our website can usually be used without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email address) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. These data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.
In the following we will inform you in detail about the handling of your data:
Cookies
In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to safeguard our predominant legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Cookies are small text files that are automatically saved on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted at the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can see the duration of the storage in the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and individually decide whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. Customer account
For every customer who registers accordingly, we set up password-protected direct access to the inventory data we have stored (customer account). Here you can view data about your completed, open and recently sent orders and manage your data and the newsletter. You undertake to treat your personal access data confidentially and not to make it accessible to unauthorized third parties. We cannot accept any liability for improperly used passwords, unless we are responsible for the abuse. If you do not log out, you will automatically remain logged in. This function enables you to use some of our services (e.g. “My Account”) without having to log in again each time. For security reasons, however, you will be asked to enter your password again if, for example, your personal data should be changed or you want to place an order.
It is also possible to place an order without creating a customer account. To do this, please use the “Order without registration” function.
Data transfer
To fulfill the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods ordered. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we will pass on the payment data collected for the processing of payments to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you create an account there. In this case, you must log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. The data protection declaration of the respective payment service provider applies in this respect.
